Driven by consumer research and product development, Sunlover invests in innovation, including the launch in 2005 of the patented Flatt Matt Return Manifold, which provides a smooth aesthetic appearance for solar heating panels.
Growth continued with the purchase of GSE Solar in south east Queensland in 2006, with Directors Kris Jones and Peter Wappett remaining as Partners in the new Sunlover Heating Queensland business. In 2007, Sunlover took over the trade and retail customer base of the well established Sydney based Carlile Solar business to provide a New South Wales operation.
With its base as a supplier of quality roof top heating systems consolidated in 2006, Sunlover expanded into the solar pool blanket market with a range of high quality covers in a variety of micron thicknesses and contemporary colours. A line of blanket rollers was also added to the catalogue.

Further expansion of the product range came in 2007 with the addition of pool heating appliances to boost the performance of solar products. Sunlover became an Australian distributor for Carrier heat pumps and accessories.
In 2008, Sunlover expanded the company with additional management expertise and a major product acquisition. Steve Rickard was appointed a director and the general manager. He came to Sunlover after 11 years experience in the development of new products for the pool and spa industry and brings marketing knowledge to the business that adds value to trade customers.
Sunlover was also awarded the exclusive Australian agency for the high tech OASIS brand heat pumps in 2008. The technologies applied in this range make OASIS heat pumps leaders in both economical operation and environmental performance.
To reflect the company’s expanding catalogue of both solar and non-solar products, the company name has been changed to Sunlover Heating.
